The little red locomotive gift tag was inspired by my 5 yr. old nephew's love of trains.
I cut the red locomotive engine from the My World cartridge using textured paper, and instead of using the wheel cuts for the train engine, I used green glittery buttons.
I cut the actual tag out of a blue paper with white specs to give the tag a flurry snow look, and used the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge for the tag.
The smoke swirls were cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. The gray paper was a very light shade of gray, so I took black chalk and chalked over the seperate swirls before attaching them. Then I used a metallic silver chalk over the black to give the swirls a smokey look.
Once again the picture does not do the tag justice, but the sheen of the smoke swirls turned out really cool. I chose the metallic pewter colored ribbon to match the train smoke.
The sentiment is just a stamp on striped paper, and I used a corner punch to round the corners. I was quite thrilled about how well the gift tag turned out!
