Stand Tall

Here is one of my latest creations. The card is a standard business envelope size. I cut the flamingo from the Serenade cart, and the sun was cut using the Plantin Schoolbook cart.

I used a black brad for the flamingo's eye, and embossed the sun using the Swiss dots Cuddlebug embossing folder.

At the bottom of the card, I hand-cut one of the zig-zag lines of the paper, and used a pink ribbon. The congratulations sentiment came from the TPC Studio Whimsy Greetings Clear Stamps.

On the inside, I repeated the fun zig-zag cut.

The sentiment says "Stand tall and be proud of your great accomplishment! Congratulations!" I typed it up, printed it out and trimmed the paper to the proper size. I'm pleased with the cheerful card!! I hope you enjoy it too!! :)

You Make Me Melt Valentine

This is the Valentine I created for my boyfriend this year.

The "You Make Me Melt" sentiment was cut using the Just Because Cart, and the heart from the Plantin Schoolbook cart. I drew the bite marks on the back of the heart with a pencil and then cut it out. I  used a real Popsicle stick and then pop-dotted the heart. I also hand-cut the little drops.

The melting edge of gray striped paper was made using a Martha Stewart border punch.

Celebrate 2011

This card was inspired by another friend of mine. It's a little wild and I love it!!! I guillotine cut the paper, after measuring the dimensions.

The glittery silver strip was Christmas garland from Pat Catan's and I used a corner punch before mounting each piece onto the card base.

The 2011 was cut from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and was pop-dotted to the card. The Celebrate sentiment is actually a Studio G clear stamp that I used repeatedly.
I mounted the same sheet of purple paper inside of the card. The "Party Time" sentiment is a Scrappy Cat clear stamp. The confetti is scraps from the green paper and the garland. I liked the added flare!!

Overall I was quite pleased!!!!
