It's been too long my crafty friends!

I hope everyone is doing well!!! I've made quite a few cards since I've been away, and I am eagar to share them with you! Here is a favorite of mine. I used it as a thank you card. I love the colors.

I Love that Damask Cartridge! So simple and so elegant! I used regular card stock, cut out Damask34 card function at 7". I flocked it using navy blue flock, and mounted it onto the card. Then, I used lime green, velvet ribbon across the front of the card.

After tracing a 3" piece of chipboard, I hand cut the layers of the flower. I inked the edges of each layer with gold pigment. For the center of the flower, I used a flat 1/2" brad. I wrapped gold foil thread around the brad to create the pattern you see here. Overall, I was rather happy with the outcome and love the colors together . . .

  1. Hi There! I hope all is well! Your card is lovely! GREAT colors! That pink really POPS!!! stop over I have a couple giveaways that might interest you :)
    Have a great weekend!

  2. love it!! Definitely a classic!

  3. HI Ash!! Boy we have missed you!! I can't really judge, because I have been lacking in my blog duties!! Love, Love, Love the card! I was just looking at this cartridge because I am in the process of picking out paint colors for my house, and let me tell you it is very difficult to pick out colors for all your rooms at once, that actually match together with the room that it is connected to!! Anyway, I a
have a chair rail in my dining room, and I want to put in some wainscoating, or wainscotting, (depending on where you live and how you spell it and pronounce it!! lol So I want to cut a pretty Damask type of design to put in the center, and I thought I could cut the design out of vinyl and put it in the center. So I am thinking that the Damask or the Iron Fences would be a good cartridge for what I am doing! Karen♥
