Beauty in Simplicity

Use some flock and the demask cricut cartridge, and you have a beautiful and
simple card that would cheer anyone up!

I sent this to my grandma before her knee surgery for a little support.
This card kind of reminds me of a female character you would see on Captain America.
I sometimes wonder what it would be like to be from the 1930's-1940's eras. :)

Vintage Seamstress

I made this card for my Mother's Birthday this year.
She has been an avid seamstress since she was a teenager.

Please ask if you have any questions in regard to the products that were used in this creation.
I hope it is inspirational to you all. :)

It's been too long my crafty friends!

I hope everyone is doing well!!! I've made quite a few cards since I've been away, and I am eagar to share them with you! Here is a favorite of mine. I used it as a thank you card. I love the colors.

I Love that Damask Cartridge! So simple and so elegant! I used regular card stock, cut out Damask34 card function at 7". I flocked it using navy blue flock, and mounted it onto the card. Then, I used lime green, velvet ribbon across the front of the card.

After tracing a 3" piece of chipboard, I hand cut the layers of the flower. I inked the edges of each layer with gold pigment. For the center of the flower, I used a flat 1/2" brad. I wrapped gold foil thread around the brad to create the pattern you see here. Overall, I was rather happy with the outcome and love the colors together . . .
