Best Wishes!
Here is another card I did for my nephew's school fundraiser.
Front:
When you need a card in a hurry, it is always good to use paper that already has a cute image printed on it and then Jazz it up with adhesive gems, pearls, buttons and more! So I used a piece of paper form Colorbok's Friendly Forest stack that already had this cute owl and frog printed on it. I used a stamp for the "Best Wishes" sentiment and then colored it in with a gel pen
Inside:
I cut a cream colored rectangle and did some foe stitching with the blue gel pen, and decided to keep it blank since it is a fundraiser card, and I have no idea who the owner will be...I hope you enjoy this little card!

Ash ;)

Lots of Crafting, Not Enough Blogging :/
I currently have tons of cards that I have made and that I need to make. I just got done last week finishing up cards my sister and I donated to a fundraiser, I have a couple of birthday cards I have made and have yet to make, not to mention all the cards I aspire to make for Mother's day!!! Goodness!!! So for the sake of time I will keep this post short. :)
So Today I have two versions of the same card. My Grandmother loves chickens and roosters which inspired these cards, the other would be used in a random fundraiser card. This easel card was for my Gram.
Here is the "quick" fundraiser card.
The inside sentiments for both cards say "You're quite the beauty, so be sure to "strut your stuff" on your birthday!" Again, I am keeping the details short today, so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I hope you enjoy!!

Ash :)

Quickly Spruce Up Your Bookshelf @ Little to No Extra Cost!!!!
Having a low budget makes for a creative mind!! I'm saving everything these days, and trying to take a second look at that Good Will bin and the garbage can! I was looking at this old photo album on my black bookshelf, thinking "I wish that matched my decor." So I decided to cover it, as I did my textbooks back in grade school. Here are pics of my 9.5" x 7.5" photo album.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
I wanted to keep it simple with this project, and stay away from embellishments. I took 2 pieces of 12" X 12" paper (separate patterns) overlapped them by an inch, taped them on the "white" side of the paper, and placed ribbon over the seam on the patterned side.
Steps on actually covering the book:
Step 1: Once you have completed the above task, take the attached pages and lay them down horizontally, with the white side up, patterned down.
Step 2: Place the binding of the book vertically onto the center of the attached pages, and trace a line on the top and the bottom of the binding.
Step 3: Remove book. At the lines which you have drawn, fold the paper evenly and horizontally all the way across the top and bottom.
Step 4: Align the ribbon on the face of the book to make sure it is placed where desired.
Step 5: Once Step 4 is completed, fold the excess paper inside to the front cover. You can tape it on the inside of the front cover -OR- you can take the top and bottom folds from Step 2, and put them over the corners of the cover.
Step 6: Now repeat Step 5 on the back cover of the book.
It was really simple to do and only took 5 minutes. I'm glad it finally matches everything else, and I did it at no extra cost!!
I hope each of you find this post helpful!!!

A Simple Thank You!
Here is a recent creation of mine. I did not use any Cricut cuts on this one. I began with a 3.375" X 6.25" card. The little bird and branch paper came from Colorbok Friendly Forest Stack. I thought it would be the perfect little card. It just needed some jazzing up!
I began by stitching buttons on each of the flowers that were printed on the paper. I traced a piece of chipboard to create the oval for my Thank You sentiment, and used a red gel pen to create the stitching around the edge of the oval.
I decided to keep it blank since I didn't make it for any particular reason. I hope all of you enjoy!!!

Stand Tall
Here is one of my latest creations. The card is a standard business envelope size. I cut the flamingo from the Serenade cart, and the sun was cut using the Plantin Schoolbook cart.
I used a black brad for the flamingo's eye, and embossed the sun using the Swiss dots Cuddlebug embossing folder.
At the bottom of the card, I hand-cut one of the zig-zag lines of the paper, and used a pink ribbon. The congratulations sentiment came from the TPC Studio Whimsy Greetings Clear Stamps.
On the inside, I repeated the fun zig-zag cut.
The sentiment says "Stand tall and be proud of your great accomplishment! Congratulations!" I typed it up, printed it out and trimmed the paper to the proper size. I'm pleased with the cheerful card!! I hope you enjoy it too!! :)
